Orange shines in the new Omega Seamaster Diver 300M editions

Orange takes the spotlight in the latest Omega Seamaster Diver 300M, two new models in black and orange with aluminium bezels. Price from €6,900

Orange is traditionally associated with maritime safety, thanks to its high visibility against the blue of the sea, its direct opposite on the colour wheel.

It is only natural, then, that orange is often used in diver’s watches. Over the years, it has become a signature element in Omega’s dive watch designs, appearing across various Seamaster collections.

This year, the vivid hue makes its way into the iconic Diver 300M range, with two stainless steel models: one paired with a mesh bracelet, the other with an orange rubber strap.

The new Omega Seamaster Diver 300M in Orange joins the metallic range introduced in 2024, taking inspiration from the Diver 300M 007 Edition worn in the James Bond film No Time to Die (our 2021 review here).

Breaking away from the familiar ceramic style of recent years, these models feature oxalic anodised aluminium bezels, along with other distinctive details such as domed sapphire crystals and newly designed mesh bracelets.

Continuing the same design language, the new versions stand out with their bold black and orange colourway.

Water-resistant up to a pressure of 30 bar (approximately 300 metres / 1,000 feet), the stainless steel case measures 42 mm x 13 mm and is equipped with a screw-down crown, protected by robust guards, and the helium valve positioned at 10 o’clock on the caseband.

With its distinctive conical shape, the helium valve uses Omega’s patented technology, making it fully operational even underwater.

Protected by a domed sapphire crystal with anti-reflective treatment on the inside, the black aluminium dial is fitted with rhodium-plated skeletonised hands and indexes, all filled with white Super-LumiNova emitting a blue glow in the dark.

Touches of orange highlight the central seconds hand, the quarter-hour indexes, and the Seamaster name positioned beneath the white-transferred Omega logo.

The caseback, enhanced by a wave-edged design, reveals the Master Chronometer Calibre 8806 through a transparent sapphire crystal, allowing a view of its rhodium-plated finish with Geneva waves in arabesque.

This advanced self-winding movement beats at a frequency of 25,200 vibrations per hour (3.5 Hz) and offers a 55-hour power reserve. Its free-sprung balance with silicon balance spring ensures resistance to magnetic fields up to 15,000 gauss.

Both the movement and the complete watch are tested and certified as Master Chronometers by the Swiss Federal Institute of Metrology (METAS), ensuring outstanding precision, performance, and magnetic resistance.

The first version is fitted with a brushed stainless steel mesh bracelet secured by a double folding clasp with security push-pieces (ref. 210.30.42.20.01.018), while the second comes on an orange rubber strap with a foldover clasp (ref. 210.32.42.20.01.006).
