Bulgari adds rose gold variation to the Octo Finissimo Perpetual Calendar

Bulgari has introduced a new variation of the Octo Finissimo Perpetual Calendar, crafted from 18 ct rose gold. The price of ref.104175 is €119,000

Bulgari has introduced a new variation of the Octo Finissimo Perpetual Calendar, entirely crafted from 18 ct rose gold.

Winner of the Grand Prix d'Horlogerie de Genève 2021, this model was originally introduced in 2021 in sandblasted titanium and platinum, followed in 2023 by a CarbonGold version.

The sculpted lines of the 40 mm precious case are highlighted by a sophisticated microbead-frosted finish, also used for the rose gold bracelet and the integrated folding buckle.

The elegant rose gold dial, on which the brown hands and indexes stand out, is characterised by an original layout, with central hours and minutes, a retrograde-display date in the upper half, month between 4 and 5 o'clock, day of the week between 7 and 8 o'clock, and leap year at 6 o'clock.

The adjustment of the calendar indications is performed via three correctors: one for the date at 2 o'clock, another for the month at 4 o'clock, and a third for the day between 8 and 9 o'clock. The crown is enhanced by a ceramic insert.

Water-resistant up to 30 metres / 100 feet, the case is equipped with a transparent sapphire crystal to showcase the automatic BVL 305 manufacture calibre.

To reduce the total thickness of the movement to just 2.75 mm, the engineers of the Manufacture paid attention to every detail, including the use of a micro-rotor and the optimal arrangement of components without reducing their dimensions.

Beating at a frequency of 3 Hz (21,600 vibrations per hour), the movement guarantees a power reserve of 60 hours.

Thanks to the ultra-thin movement, the total thickness of the watch, including the sapphire crystal, is just 5.80 mm, which is a remarkable feat considering that no fewer than 408 components operate within such a compact space.
