H. Moser & Cie. recently presented the Endeavour Perpetual Calendar Smoked Salmon, a timepiece that stands out for the refined beauty of its dial, perfectly matched to one of the most ingenious perpetual calendar solutions in watchmaking.

Protected by a curved sapphire crystal, the dial reveals a singular hue, reminiscent of the amber glow and copper highlights of barrel-aged whisky.

Its vertical griffé finish – first introduced in 2023 on the Streamliner Centre Seconds Smoked Salmon – gives the surface a vibrant, almost mineral-like texture, while the signature fumé effect shifts in tone from soft copper to warm brown. 

The logo, executed in transparent lacquer, acts as a subtle signature that alternately appears or disappears depending on the light.

The 42 mm x 13.1 mm case is crafted from white gold and houses the HMC 800 calibre, a movement renowned for its intuitive functionality. 

At the centre, a small hand indicates the months, while the large date window at 3 o’clock, equipped with the “Flash Calendar” function, enables an instantaneous date change at midnight. A power reserve indicator at 9 o’clock completes the display, showing the impressive seven days of autonomy.

All settings can be adjusted simply via the crown, at any time of day, without risk of damaging the mechanism.

The transparent curved sapphire crystal caseback reveals the leap year cycle indicator and the meticulous decoration of the hand-wound movement, which beats at 18,000 vibrations per hour and stores a minimum of seven days of power thanks to its double barrel.
