Hamilton expands Khaki Field collection with first Power Reserve model

Hamilton is expanding one of its core collections with the new Khaki Field Power Reserve.

This is the first Khaki Field model to feature a power reserve indicator on the dial.

Inspired by traditional military timepieces, the Khaki Field Power Reserve Mechanical stays true to the collection’s signature colour palette and design language.

Measuring 40 mm x 11.95 mm and crafted from stainless steel with a sandblasted finish, the case guarantees water resistance to 100 metres (330 feet).

It is presented in classic black and white dial options, each available with either a three-row stainless steel bracelet with butterfly clasp or a green NATO strap with brown leather loops.

The EasyClick system on the metal bracelet allows for rapid strap changes on the go. The lug width is 20 mm.

Protected by a sapphire crystal with anti-reflective coating, the dial of the Khaki Field Power Reserve offers excellent readability thanks to large printed Arabic numeral hour markers and the additional printed scale inside the main chapter ring.

The hands are coated with Super-LumiNova Old Radium for an authentic vintage appearance, while the power reserve indicator at 9 o'clock is highlighted in red, clearly showing "F" for full and "E" for empty.

The inscription "power reserve 80 hours" highlights the remarkable autonomy of its movement when fully wound.

Developed by ETA exclusively for Hamilton, the manual-winding H-23 calibre features an anti-magnetic Nivachron hairspring and operates at a frequency of 3 Hz (21,600 vibrations per hour).

Its power reserve is managed by a differential system that can desynchronize after a shock. To prevent this, the barrel is fitted with a slipping spring, which automatically realigns the indicator during winding and protects the movement from overwinding, ensuring precision and durability.
