MeisterSinger has released the exclusive 24H Enamel Edition, a single-hand watch presenting a precious enamel dial with an unusual 24-hour display and compass function.

Consistent with MeisterSinger's single-hand philosophy, the 24H Enamel Edition offers a unique perception of time. 

The blued, needle-shaped hand advances once every 24 hours, rather than performing two daily revolutions of the dial. This way, the wearer can see the entire day at a glance as a harmonious, uninterrupted sequence. 

The 24H Enamel Edition can also be used as a compass during daylight hours. For this purpose, the four cardinal compass points are printed at 6, 12, 18, and 24 hours: O for east, S for south, W for west, and N for north. If you position the watch horizontally, parallel to the ground, with the hand pointing towards the sun, the printed compass points will indicate north, south, east, and west.

The enamel dial, characterized by its bright white tone, offers exceptional qualities. These include the unalterable intensity of its hue over time and a unique, glossy appearance.

Mastering this age-old process, which has remained virtually unchanged since the Renaissance, requires the specialized skill of a select few experienced artisans. Creating an enamel dial involves a multistep process spanning several days. 

It begins with finely grinding a sophisticated mixture of glass-forming silicates and oxides into powder. This powder is then delicately applied to a prepared copper dial using a fine screen. The dial undergoes multiple firings in a specialized furnace, initially at approximately 800°C. 

Following each firing, it's slowly cooled. This rigorous process is repeated until the dial achieves its distinctive luminous texture. The reverse side receives similar treatment, being fired multiple times to prevent warping and cracking from stress. Only dials that meet stringent standards for final assembly proceed. 

A fine serif typeface and blue accents are then delicately transferred onto the enamel surface. The dial's design adheres to the historic "365" style, known for its elegant numerals and finely drawn typography. The intricately designed hour hand is painstakingly blued through the precise application of heat.

The 40 mm stainless steel case houses the Swiss-made Sellita SW330 automatic movement, visible through the screw-down glass exhibition back. Operating at a frequency of 4 Hz (28,800 vibrations per hour), this movement guarantees a 38-hour power reserve.

The watch is paired with a cognac-coloured strap in cow hide with egg dyeing and a stainless steel pin buckle.
