Rolex has enriched its Oyster Perpetual range with new lacquered dials in soft, pastel hues like lavender, beige and pistachio. Prices from €5,900
Rolex has enriched its Oyster Perpetual range with new lacquered dials in soft, pastel hues.
Available in lavender, beige and pistachio, the new dials also introduce a matte finish, adding a subtle and sophisticated texture to the collection.
The lavender matte lacquer dial debuts on the Oyster Perpetual 28, while the beige version appears on the Oyster Perpetual 36. The pistachio matte dial is introduced on the Oyster Perpetual 41, which also features a refined Oyster case and a slimmer, redesigned Oysterclasp that enhances its silhouette and proportions. All three dial colours will be offered across the entire size range.
Measuring 28 mm × 10.70 mm (Oyster Perpetual 28), 36 mm × 11.60 mm (Oyster Perpetual 36), and 41 mm × 11.60 mm (Oyster Perpetual 41), the stainless steel cases of these new models are water-resistant to 100 metres / 330 feet.
Their middle cases are crafted from a solid block of Oystersteel and fitted with a domed, polished bezel.
The casebacks, finely fluted at the edge, are hermetically screwed down using a special tool exclusive to Rolex-authorised watchmakers. The Twinlock winding crown, equipped with a double waterproofness system, screws down securely against the case.
Virtually scratchproof, the sapphire crystal is treated with an anti-reflective coating for improved legibility.
All models feature a Chromalight display, with hands and hour markers coated or filled with a luminescent material that emits a long-lasting blue glow in the dark. The crystal is made of virtually scratchproof sapphire.
The Oyster Perpetual 28 houses the calibre 2232, while the 36 and 41 mm models are equipped with calibre 3230. Both automatic movements were developed and manufactured entirely in-house by Rolex and first introduced in 2020.
Calibre 2232 features Rolex’s patented Syloxi silicon hairspring, designed to keep accurate time in any position. It also includes a nickel-phosphorus escape wheel, which resists magnetic fields.
Calibre 3230 is equipped with the Chronergy escapement, known for its energy efficiency and reliability. Made of nickel-phosphorus, it resists strong magnetic fields. The movement also includes a blue Parachrom hairspring, which stays stable through temperature changes and shocks. Its Rolex overcoil helps maintain consistent accuracy in any position.
Both movements use Rolex’s patented Paraflex shock absorbers to improve resistance to shocks.
Operating at a frequency of 4 Hz (28,800 vibrations per hour), Calibres 2232 and 3230 are equipped with a self-winding system via a Perpetual rotor. The first offers a power reserve of approximately 55 hours. For the second, the power reserve extends to approximately 70 hours.
As all watches in the Oyster Perpetual range, these models are fitted on an Oyster bracelet, a three-piece link bracelet made of Oystersteel and furnished with a folding Oysterclasp. It includes the Easylink comfort extension link, developed by Rolex, which allows the wearer to adjust the bracelet length by approximately 5 mm with ease.
As with all Rolex timepieces, the Oyster Perpetual 36 and 41 carry the Superlative Chronometer certification. This designation applies to the fully assembled watch and guarantees a precision of −2/+2 seconds per day, more than twice the accuracy required of an official chronometer.
This certification is symbolised by the green seal that accompanies every Rolex and is paired with an international five-year guarantee.
The Rolex Oyster Perpetual 28 ref. 276200, the Oyster Perpetual 36 ref. 126000, and the Oyster Perpetual 41 ref. 134300 are priced at €5,900, €6,450, and €6,750 respectively. rolex.com
