Four new Serenade Luna models join Glashütte Original’s refined ladies’ collection

In 2025, Glashütte Original unveils four new Serenade Luna models, all powered by state-of-the-art mechanical movements. Prices from €14,800.

Glashütte Original unveils four new Serenade Luna models, enriching their refined ladies’ collection launched in 2024.

The models feature red gold or bicolour cases, measuring 32.5 mm in diameter and 8.9 mm in thickness, and are powered by state-of-the-art mechanical movements.

Each of the four wristwatches has its own distinct character.

The two Serenade Luna models with red gold cases are paired with a midnight blue alligator leather strap. Sparkling diamonds set on the bezel, indexes, and crown enhance their glamour. 

One model features a white mother-of-pearl dial, while the other shimmers in deep blue with a refined sunray finish.

The other two novelties showcase iridescent white mother-of-pearl dials framed by stainless steel cases with red gold bezels.

One version is set with diamonds on the bezel, indexes, and crown, while an orange alligator leather strap offers a gentle contrast to these classic elements. 

The other model omits diamonds on the bezel, with only the indexes and crown adorned with sparkling gems. A pink alligator leather strap completes the feminine ensemble.

A highlight of all four models is the eye-catching moon phase display, positioned within a round aperture at 6 o’clock. 

The entire moon disc is fashioned from natural mother-of-pearl. Instead of the usual two moons, the display features four circular representations of a delicate, starry sky crafted from dark grey Tahiti mother-of-pearl.

The moon takes on different shapes depending on how it overlaps with the aperture, which is accentuated by a slender, shining ring. 

The Serenade Luna’s moon phase offers a highly precise representation of the lunar cycle, deviating by just one day after 122 years. It is adjusted directly via the crown by pulling it to the first position.

Visible through the transparent sapphire crystal caseback, the Calibre 35 automatic movement meets the highest standards of German watchmaking.

The oscillating system has been specifically redesigned for the smaller format and features four regulating screws on the balance wheel. It is equipped with a silicon hairspring that is resistant to magnetic fields and temperature fluctuations, and it oscillates at a frequency of 4 Hz (28,800 vibrations per hour) with a practical power reserve of 60 hours.

Decorations are executed by hand and include a stripe finish on the Glashütte three-quarter plate, bevelled edges, a sunburst finish on the reduction gear, a refined pearl finish on the rotor track, polished and blued screws, and a fine shell pattern on the solid gold rotor plate.
