Perrelet - Turbine Pilot collection

Perrelet introduced the new Turbine Pilot, a collection inspired by the world of aviation that is comprised of four bold-looking models housed in 48 mm stainless steel cases with black PVD coating and water resistant to 50 metres / 165 feet.

The three-dimensional dial is a real eye-catcher with the signature turbine and twelve blades in black anodised aluminium which spin at the slightest movement of the wrist.

Three of the Turbine Pilot models are enhanced by accents in bright colours like electric blue, red and yellow while the fourth one has beige accents with a particular camouflage rubber strap decorated with the classic mottled greens, browns and beige tones of this specific colouration pattern used for concealment.

The imposing cases are equipped with a circular slide rule, an analogue calculation tools featuring a series of concentric discs with different graduated scales used in aviation to quickly perform various conversions of measures. The indices and Arabic numerals at 3, 6, 9 and 12 o’clock are applied on a sapphire crystal disc above the turbine and, just like the hands, are generously coated with luminescent material.

The bidirectional rotating bezel is activated by the crown at 3 o’clock, while the time is adjusted via the integrated crown at 9 o’clock.

The new models are powered by Perrelet’s manufacture P-331-MH calibre that is visible through the transparent case back. Produced entirely in-house, this 4 Hz (28,800 vibrations per hour) self-winding movement is chronometer-certified by COSC and offers 42 hours of autonomy.

Matched to bi-material straps (rubber/leather) with alligator pattern and deployant buckle (ref. A1095/2 in electric blue, ref. A1095/3 in red, ref. A1095/4 in yellow) or to a rubber strap with camo pattern and pin buckle (ref. A1095/5), the new Perrelet Turbine Pilot models retail at Euro 4,980. perrelet.com
