The jury of the 20th edition of the Grand Prix d’Horlogerie de Genève (GPHG), this year held at the Geneva Musée d’Art et d’Histoire (MAH), has chosen the 2020 winners in each of the fourteen main categories.
The international jury has awarded the “Aiguille d’Or” Grand Prix, the highest distinction honouring the finest timepiece of the year, to the Piaget Altiplano Ultimate Concept (click here to read the article that we published on April 26, 2020). Congratulations to the entire team at Piaget.

Other special prizes were awarded. The special Innovation prize went to Parmigiani Fleurier and their Hijri Perpetual Calendar featuring an Arabic calendar.
With its Endeavour Cylindrical Tourbillon, H. Moser & Cie won the Audacity award, rewarding the best watch, presented in one of the fourteen categories, with a non-conformist, offbeat approach to watchmaking.
The Horological Revelation prize rewarded the new brand Petermann Bedat with their 1967 model.
Finally, the Special Jury Prize has been assigned to Antoine Simonin for his commitment to the creation of WOSTEP (Watchmakers of Switzerland Training and Educational Program) so filling a significant void by offering watchmakers from all around the world a chance to develop their watchmaking skills.
