Doxa SUB 300 Searambler “Silver Lung”. The new SUB 300 Searambler "Silver Lung" from DOXA is a faithful homage to a rare silver-dialed vintage DOXA SUB created in partnership with Swedish dive equipment company Aqua Lung in 1967. The new SUB 300 Searambler "Silver Lung" from DOXA is a faithful homage to a rare silver-dialed vintage DOXA SUB created in partnership with Swedish dive equipment company Aqua Lung in 1967.
Unlike 2017’s ‘Black Lung’ limited edition, which was delivered in DOXA’s signature ‘Professional’ orange dial, the Silver Lung comes with a sunray-finished silver dial, the brand’s “Searambler” livery.
Protected by a domed bubble sapphire crystal resembling the plexi crystal of the original 300, the dial offers excellent visibility even in poor light conditions thanks to Super-Luminova-filled hands and hour indices.
Like the original SUB 300, the case of the modern Silver Lung special edition is machined from a solid block of stainless steel, measuring 42.5 mm in diameter, by 13.4 mm thick.
The serrated, unidirectional timing bezel displays a patented DOXA innovation: an integrated “no deco” scale, engraved in orange and expressed in feet, per the US Navy’s maximum no-decompression limits for safe recreational diving.
Beating at 4 Hz (28,800 vph) and offering 42 hours of power reserve, the movement inside is the shock-protected, self-winding ETA 2824-2 which is also certified as a chronometer by the Official Swiss Chronometer Testing Institute (COSC).
Water resistant to 300 meters / 1,000 feet, the “Silver Lung” is matched to DOXA’s signature stainless steel “beads of rice” bracelet which tapers to an integrated wetsuit extension.
