Mido introduces the Multifort Skeleton Chronograph

Mido presents the Multifort Skeleton Chronograph, featuring a skeletonised design and available in three variations, with prices starting at €2,380

Mido presents the new Multifort Skeleton Chronograph, featuring a skeletonised design and available in three variations: shades of grey, bright blue, and deep black with orange accents.

The 43 mm x 14.4 mm case comes in stainless steel or black PVD-coated steel, featuring a mix of polished and satin-brushed surfaces. The openworked dial reveals a skeletonised version of Mido’s Caliber 60, based on the ETA A05.951.

This 4 Hz (28,800 vibrations per hour) self-winding movement offers a power reserve of up to 60 hours and is equipped with a Nivachron balance spring, an advanced alloy that ensures excellent resistance to magnetic fields, temperature changes, and shocks.

The tricompax layout includes a 30-minute chronograph counter at 3 o’clock, a 12-hour counter at 6 o’clock, and running seconds at 9 o’clock. 

Depending on the version, counters, tachymeter scale, and hour markers are rendered in anthracite, blue, or black, ensuring clear legibility.

The dial features both vertical and circular satin finishes, combined with circular graining to produce a captivating play of light.

For enhanced visibility in low light, the tri-faceted hour and minute hands are filled with Super-LumiNova, appearing white in daylight and glowing blue-green in the dark.

A sapphire crystal caseback reveals more of the Caliber 60. Its skeletonised rotor, engraved with the Mido logo, oscillates over circular-grained bridges.

The anthracite model is paired with a matching stainless steel bracelet and folding clasp, while the blue and black versions come with textured rubber straps in matching tones. 

All three are equipped with a quick-change system for easy strap or bracelet swaps.
