A new blue titanium look for the Bulgari Octo Finissimo Perpetual Calendar

Bulgari introduces the Octo Finissimo Perpetual Calendar 104262, combining its ultra-thin calibre with a blue titanium case and dial. Price €76,000

The Bulgari Octo Finissimo Perpetual Calendar returns in a new monochromatic interpretation that combines the collection’s signature ultra-thin architecture with a deep blue aesthetic.

Bulgari Octo Finissimo Perpetual Calendar Ref. 104262

Introduced as Ref. 104262, the latest version follows previous evolutions of the model in carbon gold and rose gold, while remaining faithful to the record-breaking perpetual calendar first unveiled in 2021 and awarded the Aiguille d’Or at the Grand Prix d’Horlogerie de Genève.

Bulgari Octo Finissimo Perpetual Calendar trio

The new model explores a more restrained and contemporary visual language through the use of blue PVD-treated titanium throughout the case and dial.

The extra-thin case retains the familiar Octo Finissimo architecture, with its distinctive interplay of geometric surfaces and sharp angles.

Crafted from sandblasted titanium with a blue PVD treatment, it measures 40 mm in diameter and just 5.80 mm in thickness.

The monochromatic appearance is complemented by a polished stainless-steel crown fitted with a black ceramic insert, while the transparent caseback offers a view of the movement. Water resistance is rated to 3 ATM (30 metres / 100 feet).

The blue varnished dial continues the tone-on-tone approach while maintaining the excellent legibility that has characterised the model since its debut. Despite the amount of information displayed, the layout remains remarkably clear and balanced.

Grey rhodium-plated hands and silvered indexes provide subtle contrast against the blue background, while the perpetual calendar indications display the day, month, retrograde date and leap-year cycle.

Powering the watch is the Manufacture Calibre BVL 305, an automatic movement measuring only 2.75 mm in thickness. Developed entirely in-house, it combines extreme thinness with a perpetual calendar mechanism capable of automatically accounting for the varying lengths of months and leap years.

Operating at a frequency of 21,600 vibrations per hour (3 Hz), the movement delivers a power reserve of approximately 60 hours.

The watch is paired with a matching blue alligator leather strap secured by a polished titanium pin buckle.

The Bulgari Octo Finissimo Perpetual Calendar Ref. 104262 is priced at €76,000. bulgari.com
