Rado is launching the Tradition Captain Cook MKIII Automatic, a diver’s watch inspired to a Captain Cook model dating back to 1962 but with updated details like the increased XXL case size (46.8 mm x 48.3 mm x 13.9 mm) and the sporty black textile strap.

The titanium case offers lightness and scratch resistance while its sandblasted finish eliminates reflections that might be detrimental to the watch’s legibility. Despite its large size, the lug-less design makes the MKIII a fit for most wrist sizes. The screw-down titanium case back is decorated with three stamped seahorses. Water resistance is 22 bar (220 metres / 720 feet).

Protected by a box-shaped sapphire crystal glass, the dial is easily readable in any situation thanks to large hands which stand out against the black sunray dial. Both the indexes and the hands are treated with white and yellow Super-LumiNova. The rotating inner bezel can be adjusted using the crown at 2 o’clock.

The automatic ETA C07.621 movement beats at 28,800 vibrations per hour and guarantees a power reserve of up to 80 hours.
