Jaeger-LeCoultre Reverso Tribute Tourbillon Duoface. JLC Reverso Duoface Tourbillon ref. Q3926480. For its 185th anniversary, Jaeger-LeCoultre combines the duoface concept with a flying tourbillon.
The Duoface has always been one of our favourite interpretations of the iconic Reverso watch, whose complete history can be read in our feature article here.
On occasion of its 185th anniversary, Jaeger-LeCoultre is now combining the duoface concept with one of the most fascinating watchmaking feat, a tourbillon.
The new Reverso Tribute Tourbillon Duoface is equipped with a hand wound movement, the Jaeger-LeCoultre Calibre 847, which is a demonstration of unique watchmaking expertise.
Smaller than the celebrated Reverso Tribute Gyrotourbillon launched in 2016, the Reverso Tribute Tourbillon Duoface maintains similar proportions. The sophisticated movement is housed in a 45.5 mm x 27.4 mm platinum case whose thickness is just 9.15 mm, an exceptional result for a watch that offers two-time zones on two separate dials as well as a flying tourbillon.
The front side is characterised by a blue sunrayed dial with silvered hand-applied hour-markers, Dauphine hands, and the eye-catching flying tourbillon taking centre stage at 6 o’clock.
On the opposite side, the grained dial with Côtes de Genève finishes gives a different look to the watch and accommodates functions like a second time zone, small seconds, and the day/night indicator at 2 o’clock.
The exclusivity of this timepiece is confirmed by its limited production: just 50 pieces.
The Jaeger-LeCoultre Reverso Tribute Tourbillon Duoface (ref. Q3926480) has a price of US$ 123,000. jaeger-lecoultre.com
