MeisterSinger unveils a new Pangaea Day Date 365 variant

The Pangaea Day Date has been a cornerstone of the MeisterSinger collection for over a decade. Its distinctive open-ring day and date display has earned it prestigious design awards, including the Red Dot, German Design, and Good Design Award.

The collection now expands with the new Pangaea Day Date 365 ref. PDD365927, joining the two existing models in MeisterSinger's signature colours, sunburst blue and ivory, as well as the vintage-inspired version introduced in 2024.

Like last year’s edition, the new model pairs the signature single-hand dial layout with the charming, nostalgic aesthetic of historical clocks, now enhanced by a refined grey sunburst finish.

The white central single hand, characterized by an extra-long overhang, rotates around the dial, pointing to the fine five-minute markers on the edge of the dial.

Reading the time is easy once you get accustomed to the concept of a single hand sweeping over a 12-hour scale, which is divided into 144 markers.

The date and weekday rings are fully exposed, giving the dial both structure and depth. The current date and day of the week are clearly displayed just below the 12 o’clock position.

The fine serif typeface is reminiscent of the style of early pocket watches. The ensemble is enlivened by orange accents.

Housed in a 40 mm x 10.5 mm stainless steel case equipped with a domed sapphire crystal, the movement powering the timepiece is showcased through the sixfold screwed glass exhibition back.

Specially modified for MeisterSinger’s single-hand watches, this self-winding movement is based on a Swiss Sellita SW220 beating at a frequency of 4 Hz (28,800 vibrations per hour) and offers 38 hours of power reserve. The efficient rotor is engraved with the brand's logo.

Water resistant to 5 bar (50 metres / 165 feet), the watch is paired with a soft cowhide strap in dark brown with contrasting white stitching. Other leather straps or stainless steel bracelets are available. The lug width is 20 mm.
