Frederique Constant opens 2025 with the release of the Classic Tourbillon Manufacture Green, a new edition featuring a green dial of its sophisticated tourbillon model introduced in 2023 with blue and silver dials.

Produced in a limited series of 150 pieces, the new reference FC-980GR3H6 comes in a 39 mm x 11 mm case in stainless steel with polished surfaces. Equipped with a traditional onion-shaped crown harking back to the days of pocket watches, it offers water resistance up to 5 ATM (50 metres / 165 feet).  

Protected by a convex sapphire crystal with anti-reflective coating, the deep palm green dial shines with a refined sunburst finish.

Two hand-polished central hands glide over faceted hour markers, while the tourbillon at 6 o’clock marks the seconds with a slim central hand on its upper bridge—deliberately understated to maintain an unobstructed view of its intricate mechanics.

Each piece is individually numbered, with its unique identifier marked on the tourbillon cage and engraved on the sapphire caseback. Through this transparent window, the self-winding FC-980-4 calibre is showcased, revealing meticulous finishing details such as hand-bevelled chamfers, beading on the bridges, straight-grained flanks, and a refined mirror polish.

Beating at 4 Hz (28,800 vibrations per hour), the FC-980-4 calibre offers a 38-hour power reserve and features a silicon escapement, enhancing its resistance to magnetism and temperature variations.
