The DBD Evergreen is De Bethune’s latest interpretation of its unconventional timepiece offering a triple linear calendar with digital time display.

The Swiss brand introduced this model in 2006 and, since then, has produced thirty-nine DBD models, available in rose gold or white gold.

Crafted from polished Grade 5 titanium, the case of the new DBD Evergreen measures 42.6 mm in diameter and 9.4 mm in thickness. Characterised by ogive-shaped lugs and a crown positioned at 12 o'clock, the watch showcases a green dial embellished with Côtes de Genève, resulting in a captivating interplay of light.

Elegantly presented through art-deco-style apertures, five discs linearly unveil the day, date, and month at the twelve o'clock position. Meanwhile, jumping hours and scrolling minutes share the lower half of the dial.

Winding and setting of the time are executed via the crown (2 positions) while the setting of day, date and month can be operated by 3 correctors discreetly positioned on the caseband.

Through the sapphire crystal case back, it is possible to admire the mechanical caliber DB2044, a hand-wound manufacture movement equipped with the latest titanium balance wheel with gray gold inserts, as well as the triple parachute system. Operating at a frequency of 4 Hz (28,800 vibrations per hour), it offers a power reserve of 5 days, ensured by a self-regulating twin barrel.

The De Bethune DBD Evergreen will be delivered with a two-tone beige and green textile strap as well as an extra-supple black alligator strap. A limited edition of only 20 numbered pieces, the watch has a price of CHF 105,000. debethune.com
