Baume & Mercier has enriched its Classima collection with three new timepieces that are part of the stylish Capsule range: a skeleton watch with small seconds, a GMT version, and a model featuring a visible balance wheel and power reserve.

The eye-catching Classima Skeleton Capsule Edition Ref. 10735 features a blue sapphire dial which allows the hand-wound skeleton movement to be seen through. 

The Arabic numerals and indexes are rhodium-plated, as are the leaf hands of the hours, minutes and small seconds. The minute track stands out in white on a black flange for precise time reading while the small seconds at 6 o’clock adds elegance.

The round case in polished stainless steel has a diameter of 42 mm and a thickness of 8.95 mm. It is equipped with scratch-resistant sapphire crystals on both sides.

Beating at a frequency of 4Hz (28,800 vibrations per hour), the ETA 6498-1-based skeletonised calibre offers a 46-hour power reserve. The watch is water-resistant to 5 ATM (approx. 50 metres / 165 feet). Price: Euro 3,990.

Combining classic elegance with a modern twist, the Classima GMT Capsule Edition Ref. 10734 comes in a 42 mm x 8.8 mm round case in polished stainless steel and offers a GMT function, useful to keep track of the current time in other countries by displaying two time zones at once: local time and home time.

The sun-satin blue dial is adorned with diagonal stripes, evoking fabric patterns. It also features a black flange and a white minute track for enhanced aesthetics.

The Arabic numerals and indexes are white. The leaf hands, displaying hours, minutes, and seconds, are rhodium-plated. while the central GMT hand is blue to match the numerals on the 24-hour scale.

The automatic ETA 2893-based movement operates at a frequency of 4Hz (28,800 vibrations per hour) with a power reserve of 42 hours.

The polished stainless steel case back offers the possibility to engrave a significant date or a special message. The watch is water resistant to 30 metres / 100 feet. Price: Euro 3,100.

The Baume & Mercier Classima Capsule Edition Ref. 10718 is distinguished by its dial with visible balance wheel at 12 o’clock and power reserve indicator at 6 o’clock.

Protected by a scratch-resistant sapphire crystal, the sun-satin gray dial is decorated with diagonal lines and completed by Arabic numerals and white indexes, gold-tone leaf hands, and a white-and-gold-tone minute track.

Measuring 42 mm x 10.1 mm, the polished stainless steel case houses a self-winding movement Soprod 9040-BV featuring a 42-hour power reserve and oscillating at a frequency of 4Hz (28,800 vibrations per hour).

The caseback displays the movement through a porthole while also leaving space for a personalised engraving, perfect for a gift. Water-resistance is guaranteed up to a pressure of 3 ATM (approximately 30 metres / 100 feet). Price: Euro 3,300.

All watches are fitted with an interchangeable strap in Holland & Sherry Super 120 wool with coloured saddle stitching and a stainless steel pin buckle. It is interchangeable without the need for tools thanks to its spring bar system.
