Alpina is launching the Alpiner Extreme Automatic in three dial colours - black, forest green and midnight blue - with a retail price of €1,495

Alpina is launching a redesign of its Alpiner Extreme line which first came out 20 years ago.

The new Alpiner Extreme Automatic is presented in three dial colours - forest green, midnight blue and black - characterised by a slight raised pattern with a triangle design. Each version shares luminescent white indexes (doubled at midday), two hands, also luminescent, and a second hand with their signature red triangle tip, the brand’s logo. A date aperture at 3 o'clock completes the ensemble.

The brushed and polished stainless steel case has been reduced in size now measuring 41 mm x 42.5 mm with a thickness of 11.50, scratch-resistant domed sapphire crystal included. 

The circular bezel is secured by six triangular-section screws. Featuring a rubber ring in the same colour as the integrated rubber strap, the screwed crown contributes to ensure water resistance to 200 metres / 660 feet.

Visible through a transparent sapphire crystal case back, the self-winding AL-525 calibre (base Sellita SW200-1) beats at a frequency of 4 Hz - or 28,800 vibrations per hour - with an autonomy of 38 hours.

Completed by an integrated strap made of textured rubber matching the colour of the dial, the new Alpiner Extreme Automatic by Alpina has a retail price of Euro 1,495. alpinawatches.com
