As the Official Timekeeper of the FIA World Rally Championship (WRC), Anonimo presented a special edition of its Militare Chronograph that will mark the first rally of the 2020 season in Monte Carlo.
The Militare Chrono WRC Special Edition is characterized by a bold look with a vibrant orange, the newly unveiled championship colour, to replace the green of the past seasons.
Touches of this colour appear on the chronograph hand, the minute track on the flange, the 30- minute counter hand and indices, the chronograph start push-button and the strap stitching.
Crafted from stainless steel with PVD and DLC coating, the 43.55 mm x 14.50 mm cushion-shaped case frames a hand-brushed grey dial that enhances the technical appearance of the timepiece. The hands are generously treated with Super-LumiNova for improved readability even with poor light conditions. The WRC logo at 6 o'clock is a tribute to the partnership.
The crown at 12 o'clock is protected by a patented articulation system that guarantees comfort and makes the piece water resistant to 12 ATM (120 metres / 400 feet).
The new model is equipped with a Sellita SW 300 self-winding movement with an additional bi-compax DD2035M chronograph module developed exclusively for Anonimo. Beating at 28,800 vibrations per hour and offering a power reserve of 42 hours, the movement is visible through a smoked sapphire crystal adorned with the WRC logo.
