The Unomat is the most robust watch that MeisterSinger has ever made. Designed and engineered to withstand tough environments, this sport model is water-resistant up to 30 bar (300 metres / 1,000 feet), antimagnetic up to 24000 A/m (Ampere per metre), and features an extra-strong stainless steel case with a screw-down and guard-protected crown.

Following the original versions with black and steel blue dials introduced in 2021 (you can read our review here) and the successive versions with medium blue and medium green dials, MeisterSinger is now presenting a 50-piece limited edition in a bold orange hue.

Like most timepieces from the German watchmaker, even the Unomat Orange indicates the time by using a single hand that sweeps over the 12 hours divided by 144 markers, each representing 5 minutes.

This striking needle-like hand has a luminous coating that glows in the dark, as do the numerals and applied hour markers. A round aperture at 6 o'clock displays the white date on a black background. To protect the dial, we have a slightly-domed sapphire crystal.

The 43 mm x 13.2 mm case alternates satin brushed and polished surfaces and features a solid caseback that protects the Swiss self-winding Sellita SW400 calibre, that is enclosed by layers of soft iron, a metal that has a great capacity to absorb magnetic waves preventing them from reaching the mechanisms.

Thanks to this solution, the Unomat is protected by radiations from cell phones, lab equipment and other electrical devices. Beating at the frequency of 4 Hz (28,800 vibrations per hour), the movement guarantees an autonomy of 38 hours.

Matching the colour of the dial, the strap is made of comfortable and easy to clean rubber, a detail that emphasises the sportiness of this limited edition, perfect for Summer.
