Longines is enriching its Flagship Heritage collection with three new models equipped with a moon-phase complication.

Characterised by an understated design of timeless elegance, the Flagship Heritage Moon-phase comes in a 38.5 mm x 12.40 mm stainless steel case whose lines are highlighted by alternating satin-brushed and polished surfaces. The ideal diameter of the case and shortened chamfered lugs contribute to optimal comfort on the wrist.

The domed dial is protected by a sapphire glass with multi-layered anti-reflective coating on both sides and offered in three variations: sunray silver (ref. L4.815.4.72.2), opaline silver (ref. L4.815.4.78.2), and sunray blue (ref. L4.815.4.92.2).

The hours and minutes hands are gilt or silver polished, depending on the reference, and filled with Super-LumiNova for better readability in poor light conditions. 

The applied hour markers are elongated at 3, 6 and 9 o'clock and leave space at 6 o'clock to the moon phase display. Around it, the current date is indicated by a small hand. 

The new Longines Flagship Heritage is driven by the L899.5 Calibre, a self-winding movement that beats at 25,200 vibrations per hour with a power reserve of up to 72 hours. It is equipped with a silicon balance spring for improved resistance to magnetic fields.

The emblem of the collection, a caravel on a gold medallion, is embossed on the screw-down solid case back. 

Water resistant to 30 metres / 100 feet, the new Longines Flagship Heritage Moon-phase is matched to an alligator leather strap with stainless steel pin buckle and is priced at Euro 3,300 / US$ 3,050. longines.com
