Among the Zenith novelties at BaselWorld 2013, one of the most alluring was the Captain Central Second (ref. 18.2020.670/95.C498) in red gold with a new champagne sunray domed dial where the blued central seconds hand stands out beautifully.
The date aperture at 6 o'clock helps the dial to maintain perfect symmetry. The faceted hour markers, like the hour and minute hands, are gold plated.
The movement - visible through the transparent sapphire crystal case back - is the automatic Elite 670 beating at 28,800 vph and offering a power reserve of minimum 50 hours when fully wound.
Water resistant to 50 mt, the Zenith Captain Central Second has a diameter of 40 mm. Thickness is 8.15 mm.
The timepiece comes with either a brown alligator strap, with a pin buckle or optionally a triple folding clasp, or a gold bracelet. We think there should not be doubts about choosing the strap version.
