Among the novelties unveiled by Patek Philippe at BaselWorld 2013 there is a new white gold version - Ref. 5170G - of the appreciated two-counters manual-wound chronograph.
This timepiece shares the same 39 mm case of the yellow gold version (ref. 5170J) but introduces not only a different precious metal but also a dial characterised by the elegant Breguet figures used for the hour markers, partially covered by the two sub-dials - the chronograph 30-minute counter at 3 o'clock and the small seconds at 9 o'clock.
The movement is the column-wheel chronograph Calibre CH 29-535 PS beating at 28,800 vibrations per hour with a power reserve of approximately 65 hours when the chronograph is disengaged.
A shiny black alligator strap with fold-over clasp completes this dream chronograph.
