Maurice Lacroix expands its Aikon Automatic Skeleton collection with three new models, building upon the concept introduced with the monochromatic 39 mm reference released in 2022 (read our review here).

The Aikon Automatic Skeleton is now available in a larger 42 mm case with two colour themes: grey and blue. Additionally, a new blue variation of the original 39 mm model has been introduced

The transparent sapphire dial reveals the intricate mechanics of the movement beneath, while also supporting the rhodium-plated indexes. 

The grey or blue chapter ring facilitates the reading of the time indicating the minutes. 

The hour and minute hands, along with the indexes, are filled with white Super-LumiNova X1, which emits a green glow in low-light conditions.

The dynamic lines of the stainless steel case are highlighted by the alternation of satin-brushed and polished surfaces. 

The satin-brushed bezel is distinguished by six polished arms, a hallmark of the Aikon design. 

Water resistance is rated at 20 ATM (200 metres / 660 feet), supported by a screwed-in crown adorned with the Maurice Lacroix emblem.  

Despite its robust performance, the case maintains a slim profile of just 11 mm for both the 39 mm and 42 mm versions.

Developed in cooperation with Sellita, one of the largest manufacturers of Swiss mechanical watch movements, the self-winding Calibre ML115 (based on a robust and reliable SW200) plays with transparency, allowing light to pass through various openings. 

The mainplate is finished with soleillage, sandblasting and colimaçon decorations, also used for the openworked rotor visible through the transparent sapphire crystal caseback. 

Operating at a frequency of 4 Hz (28,800 vibrations per hour), the movement offers 38 hours of power reserve.

The 5-row stainless steel bracelet is seamlessly integrated with the case and equipped with a double folding clasp with double safety push-buttons. Thanks to Maurice Lacroix's proprietary EasyChange system, wearers can effortlessly swap the bracelet for leather or rubber straps without any tools.
