Tudor unveils the Black Bay Ceramic Blue, a blue-dial version of its sport model, in partnership with Visa Cash App RB Formula One team. Price €5,260

Tudor has unveiled the Black Bay Ceramic Blue, a blue-dial version of its sporty black ceramic model introduced in 2021 (you can read about it here).

This release celebrates the return of the Swiss brand to motorsport, partnering with the new Visa Cash App RB Formula One team, participating in the championship with drivers Daniel Ricciardo and Yuki Tsunoda.

To mark the occasion, Tudor created this exclusive version whose blue dial matches the team’s livery. 

Master Chronometer certified by the Federal Institute of Metrology (METAS), one of the industry's most demanding standards in terms of chronometry and resistance to magnetic fields, the watch comes in a 41 mm matt black ceramic case with sand-blasted surfaces and bevelled, mirror-polished edges. 

The screw-down winding crown is made of black-PVD-treated 316L steel and features the characteristic Tudor rose in relief.

The unidirectional rotatable bezel, made of black PVD-coated steel with a black ceramic insert, frames a domed dial in matt blue with applied hour markers and the signature “Snowflake” hands, all filled with Grade X1 Super-LumiNova luminescent material. 

Protected by a domed sapphire crystal, the dial features two lines of text indicating that the watch is a "Black Bay Master Chronometer". This differs from other Black Bay models, which display the text "Chronometer Officially Certified," referring only to the COSC certification, a sub-requirement of METAS.

Through its sapphire crystal porthole, the case back in black PVD-treated steel displays the proprietary MT5602-1U calibre, a self-winding movement with bidirectional rotor system equipped with a silicon hairspring and guarantees a 70-hour power reserve.

Water resistant to 200 metres / 660 feet, the watch is matched to a hybrid leather and rubber strap with a "Snowflake" motif on the inside and a black PVD-coated stainless steel folding clasp. A complimentary black fabric strap with blue band is also delivered.
