It was 1975 when Bulgari created the BVLGARI ROMA gold digital wristwatch. Produced in a limited series of 100 pieces, it was intended as a Christmas gift for Bulgari’s top clients. In 1977 this model was officially named BVLGARI BVLGARI. Combining an assertive bezel with a a minimalistic dial, this watch has become an icon of the Roman's brand.

As it turns 45, the Bulgari Bulgari line is enriched by four new iterations: two for Men powered by mechanical calibres and two for Ladies equipped with quartz movements, all of them characterised by the ultra-visible engraved bezel with Roman font letters.

The first model, the Bulgari Bulgari ref. 103270, comes in a 41 mm stainless steel case whose crown is set with a ceramic insert. The sunburst blue-lacquered dial makes the hour markers, including the large 12 and 6 numerals, and the three hands clearly stand out for perfect legibility. The case is matched to a stainless steel bracelet alternating satin brushed and polished surfaces.

The other 41 mm variation, reference 103652, features a sunburst silver-toned dial with tone-on-tone hour markers and hands.

The movement of choice for both the two 41 mm models is the self-winding Manufacture BVL191 calibre driving hours, minutes, seconds and date indications. Beating at 28,800 vibrations per hour (4 Hz), it guarantees an autonomy of 42 hours.

Powered by quartz movements driving hours and minutes indications, the two Bulgari Bulgari versions for Ladies shine in 33 mm steel cases perfectly attuned to steel satin-polished bracelets.

The first model, reference 103575, features a silver-tone sunburst dial subtly enhanced by tone-on-tone hour-markers with the signature cabochon-cut rubellite of the crown to add a nice touch of colour.

The other model, reference 103577, is a two-tone interpretation that combines stainless steel to pink gold, used for the bezel, the crown set with a cabochon-cut rubellite, the hands and the 12 diamond hour markers.
