The outer cities disc is fixed so that the wearer can easily find the time zone of interest while the 24-hour disc surrounding the view over the North Pole indicates the home time.
The names of the cities are printed in red (GMT), in black (+1h in summer) or in blue (places without daylight savings). These destinations include the city of Bienne at GMT+1, Omega's home in Switzerland.
Made of 18 kt yellow gold and treated with Super-LumiNova, the hands and the hour markers offer excellent legibility, further enhanced by the AR-coated sapphire crystal.
The new Seamaster Aqua Terra Worldtimer is powered by the manufacture Calibre 8939 Master Chronometer movement, which is certified by the Swiss-based Federal Institute of Metrology (METAS). Beating at 25,200 vibrations per hour, if offers a power reserve of 60 hours.
The caseback is engraved with the limited edition number and features a sapphire crystal to showcase the movement. Water resistance is 150 meters / 500 feet.
