The recently presented De Bethune DB25 LT Tourbillon successfully mixes classical features with avant-garde solutions.
The 44 mm case is made of platinum and nicely combines with the rose gold and hand-guilloché dial. The distinctive spherical De Bethune moon - positioned at 12 o’clock - is entirely mirror-polished and composed of half-spheres meticulously set into blued steel and palladium. This sophisticated moon-phases indicator will require only one adjustment every 122 years.
The polished steel, flame-blued hands are a perfect fit for the dial. Their slightly curved shape allows them to glide over the three-dimensional moon.
The back of the DB25 LT displays a sophisticated hand wound mechanism powered by a 30- second silicon and titanium tourbillon with a balance-wheel oscillating at 36,000 vibrations per hour, one of the fastest and lightest in the watch industry weighing just 0.18 grams in all. It offers a power reserve of 4 days.
