Together with the Monaco Calibre 12 Chronograph Automobile Club de Monaco Black Edition, Tag Heuer also presented two new Monaco Twenty Four Calibre 36 Chronograph models, one with blue dial (ref. CAL5111.FC6299) and the other with a black one (CAL5113.FC6329).
Inside the fine-brushed and polished steel case, whose diameter is 40,5mm, we find a Calibre 36 movement running at the remarkable speed of 36,000 vibrations corresponding to a frequency of 5 Hertz. The COSC-certified movement is visible through the wide sapphire crystal caseback.
The “Advanced Dynamic Absorber System” protects the movement by suspending it inside the case with 4 shock-absorbing arms. Inspired to F1 race car technology, these arms collect vibrations and direct them away from the movement and into the composite filter so absorbing and dissipating their energy.
Water resistant to 100 metres, the Monaco Twenty Four Calibre 36 Chronograph is completed by a black alligator strap with a steel folding buckle.
