Longines - Heritage Military

For its Heritage collection, Longines can draw on an impressive amount of historical watch models.

In case of the new Longines Heritage Military, the dial design was derived from a 1918 watch from the Longines Museum’s historical collection at the company’s Saint-Imier headquarters.

A typical military watch in its look, the new model comes in a 44 mm satin-brushed steel case, complemented with a fluted crown, which offers water resistance to 30 metres / 100 feet.

Adorned with 12 large painted Arabic numerals coated with Super-LumiNova, the matt black dial features Breguet-type hands and a train track chapter ring and offers excellent readability at first sight. The small seconds and the date aperture are positioned at 6 o’clock.

The movement of choice is a self-winding L615.3 calibre (based on the ETA 2895/2) beating at 28,800 vibrations per hour with a 42-hour power reserve.

Complemented by a black alligator-skin strap, the new Longines Heritage Military (ref. L2.811.4.53.0) has a price of Euro 1,720.
