Nomos Glashütte - The new Tetra quartet in shades of pink

Nomos Glashütte presented four new variations of its squared Tetra timepiece. This time the leit-motif characterising the quartet is the pink colour, recurring in all models in different hues.

The four new models are named after quirks: “Die Unerreichbare”, “Die Wildentschlossene”, “Die Fuchsteufelswilde” and “Die Kapriziöse”. 

"Die Unerreichbare" ("The unreachable") features a shimmering dial with a silver sunburst finish and sub-seconds in pink with a a light blue seconds hand that stands out beautifully. 

"Die Wildentschlossene" ("The wildly determined") comes in an elegant shade of pink, brilliantly accentuated with a silver sub-seconds dial. The yellow seconds hand adds a subtle colour accent.

"Die Fuchsteufelswilde" (a German idiom that translates literally to "The fox-devil wild," but its true meaning is closer to "wild and crazy") features a dial in a distinctive aubergine shade with contrasting copper accents. The flash of blue on its seconds hand completes the ensemble.

"Die Kapriziöse" ("The Capricious") features a dial in a modern shade of dusty pink, a sub-seconds in silver and a dash of yellow on the seconds hand. 

Framed by 29.5 mm x 29.5 mm stainless steel square cases, all dials have contrasting sans-serif numerals and minimalist rhodium-plated baton hands.

The new Tetra can be ordered with a stainless steel solid case back that can be optionally engraved or with a transparent sapphire crystal porthole that showcases the refined movement.  

The watches are just 6.3 mm thick thanks to the slimness of the movement inside, the 3 Hz (21,600 vibrations per hour) Alpha calibre, in-house built by Nomos in Glashütte. Adjusted in six positions and decorated with Glashütte ribbing, tempered blue screws, and perlage, this hand-wound movement has 43 hours of power reserve.

Water resistant up to a pressure of 3 ATM (splash-proof) and matched to elegant vegan velour straps, the new Tetra models by Nomos Glashütte have retail prices of Euro 1,860 with a solid case back or Euro 2,080 with sapphire crystal case back. nomos-glashuette.com
