Norqain - Adventure NEVEREST Night Sight

Norqain is further expanding its NEVEREST line introduced last August 21 (you can read about it here), with the new Adventure NEVEREST Night Sight 40 mm DLC, a rugged 3-hand model featuring a fully luminescent dial for perfect legibility at every hour of the day and night.

To obtain its high-impact look, the dial has been coated with X1 Super-LumiNova glowing in green in darker environments. In the light of day, the sand-coloured background offers an excellent contrast to the the black hand-applied and satin-brushed numerals at 12, 3, 6 and 9 o’clock.

The facetted light grey hands are also set with X1 Super-LumiNova, a luminescent material which offers a performance increase of up to 60% after two hours compared to the standard Super-LumiNova grade.

Crafted from stainless steel, the versatile 40 mm case is characterised by the all-black DLC coating used for case, bezel, screwed-down crown, and lugs. The lines are well highlighted by the alternation of polished and satin-brushed surfaces.

The bi-directional bezel is engraved with the initials of the cardinal and ordinal directions. The exception is “north”, which is indicated with Norqain’s logo resembling a mountain peak.

The Norqain plate on the left side of the case is DLC-coated and engraved with “NEVEREST”.

The screwed down crown, which contributes to make the Adveture NEVEREST Night Sight model water resistant to 200 metres / 660 feet, is protected from accidental shocks.

Visible through the sapphire glass caseback, the proprietary Calibre NN20/1 produced in collaboration with movement manufacturer Kenissi beats at 28,800 vibrations per hour (4 Hz) with a power reserve of 70 hours. The precision of this automatic movement - certified as a chronomemeter by the Swiss Official Chronometer Testing Institute (COSC) - is ensured by a traversing bridge with two-point fixation.

The movement is decorated with Norqain touches such as the golden “double-N” logo – symbolising the Swiss Alps – and the brand’s core values engraved on the bridge as “Adventure – Freedom – Independence.”
