The elegant two-hand watch features a minimalist dial with baton-style hour markers in solid gold which have been slightly extended and moved closer to the bezel compared to the previous version of the model. As a result, the argenté-coloured solid-silver dial has even more prominence.
Just like the 40 mm version, the movement of choice is the hand-wound calibre L093.1 movement which is just 2.9 millimetres thick and features the Lange distinctive traits, including the German-silver three-quarter plate decorated with Glashütte ribbing, solarised winding-train wheels, three screwed gold chatons and a hand-engraved balance cock.

Great, even if it smaller :)
ReplyDeleteLove the new size, and the price!
Excellent news and wise decision from Lange
ReplyDeleteFirst Tag offers a tourbillon at 15k, then Frederique Constant rolls out a perpetual calendar at under 10k and now Lange of all brands is dropping the price and size of their classic Saxonia Thin? Lets hope this downward pricing trend continues. I love this watch but prefer it at 40mm. 37mm is a shade small for my wrist.
ReplyDeleteAgree, except for the size but as you say it depends on the size of the wrist. Personally I like dress watches at 37/38 mm
