Eterna - Royal KonTiki Chronograph

Characterised by a strong and masculine design, the new Eterna Royal KonTiki Chronograph is built around the in-house developed and manufactured Eterna Calibre 3916A, a further development of the Eterna basic movement 39.

Beating at 28,800 vibrations per hour and offering a power reserve of 65 hours, Calibre 3916 integrates  a self-winding mechanism, a chronograph with flyback function and a date display.

The robust, 42.55 mm stainless steel case, optionally also available with black PVD coating, features a distinctive bezel with circular elements and five black PVD-coated screws arranged in the shape of the famous Eterna logo.

The chronograph buttons are also coated with black rubber for ease of use, while the crown protector is made of blackened steel. Water resistance is 100 metres / 330 feet.

The bezel frames an anthracite dial decorated with a sunburst motif featuring the 30-minute and 12-hour counter at 3 o’clock, the small seconds display at 9 o’clock and the date window at 6 o’clock, all enclosed within a raised ring. To enhance the legibility, the recessed centres of the two subdials are silver-coloured and the three chronograph hands are red-tipped.

Thanks to the white SuperLuminova coating applied to hour indices and hour and minute hands, the Royal KonTiki Chronograph is easy to read even in poor light conditions.

The Eterna Royal KonTiki Chronograph is available in steel with black rubber strap (ref. 7755.40.50.1289), in steel with steel bracelet (ref. 7755.40.50.0280) or in steel with black PVD coating and black rubber strap (ref. 7755.43.40.1289) with prices of Swiss Francs 4,800, 5,000 and 5,100 respectively.
