Armin Strom - One Week Skeleton Collection

The famous watchmaker Armin Strom, one of the most admired master in the art of skeletonization,  has always applied his exceptional skills on movement of third parties.

Finally the Armin Strom Manufacture has realised the dream of its founder by creating a skeleton watch, or squelette in French, entirely manufactured in-house.

The Armin Strom One Week Skeleton Collection becomes this way the modern symbol of the Armin Strom tradition which started in the late 1960s in the town of Burgdorf, northwest of Bern.
The combination of functionality with aesthetics, by cutting away all the parts of the movement which have no active function for its operation and then engraving and decorating the remaining parts with intricate detailing, makes skeleton watches a mesmerising spectacle.
The manual-winding calibre ARM09-S, beating at 18,000 vph and visible on both sides through sapphire crystals, features the typical off-centre time indications with small seconds and power reserve indicator at 9 o'clock.
Thanks to double barrels, the movement offers 7-days of power reserve. Even the going barrel springs are visible through the winding wheels.
The fully skeletonised main plate, gear-train bridges and barrel-bridges are decorated with classical hand-engravings. The escape wheel and pallets are made of massive gold with hardened functional areas.

The Armin Strom One Week Skeleton Collection (ref. RG14-WS.5N) is a limited edition of 50 pieces, available in a 43.40 mm rose or white gold case. It is delivered with a black or brown alligator horn-back strap with gold ardillon buckle as well as an additional black or brown rubber strap. A double-fold clasp is available on option.
