Vacheron Constantin introduces three Traditionnelle Perpetual Calendar Ultra-Thin models in 36.5 mm, powered by the ultra-slim calibre 1120 QP. Price.

Vacheron Constantin has presented three new interpretations of its Traditionnelle Perpetual Calendar Ultra-Thin, housed in a case measuring 36.5 mm in diameter and 8.43 mm in thickness.

Two models—one in 18k 5N pink gold (ref. 4300T/000R-H107) and one in 18k white gold (ref. 4300T/000G-H106)—are the first non-gem-set Traditionnelle watches to be offered in this case size.

They are joined by a third version in 18k white gold with a diamond-set bezel (ref. 4305T/000G-H135).

The case design is characterised by a stepped round profile, a fluted caseback, straight-sided lugs and a slender bezel.

The dial emphasises balance, proportion and legibility, featuring a railway minute track, faceted Dauphine-type hands and applied gold baton-style hour markers.

The date, day of the week and month are indicated by hands on three symmetrically arranged circular registers, which echo the form of the combined Moon phase and age-of-the-Moon display positioned at 6 o’clock.

A classic high complication, the perpetual calendar automatically accounts for the irregularities of the Gregorian calendar—including leap years and months of varying lengths—without requiring manual correction until 2100.

Powering these models is the Manufacture calibre 1120 QP, a self-winding movement that exemplifies the Maison’s expertise in both perpetual calendars and ultra-thin watchmaking.

Measuring just 4.05 mm in thickness, the movement incorporates a perpetual calendar with day, date and 48-month display with leap-year indication, along with a Moon phase and age-of-the-Moon complication, in addition to hours and minutes. It operates at a frequency of 2.75 Hz (19,800 vibrations per hour) and offers a power reserve of 40 hours.

Comprising 276 components, the calibre is meticulously hand-finished in accordance with the highest Haute Horlogerie standards.

The mainplate, though concealed ,beneath the dial—is circular-grained, while the sapphire-crystal caseback reveals Côtes de Genève and hand-bevelled bridges, circular satin-finished jewel and screw sinks, and polished teeth on the going train. 

The oscillating weight, also decorated with Côtes de Genève, features a 22k gold outer segment and is openworked in the shape of the Maison’s Maltese cross emblem.

Paired with coordinated alligator leather straps, the new Vacheron Constantin Traditionnelle Perpetual Calendar Ultra-Thin models are priced at €103,000, rising to €108,000 for the version with a gem-set bezel. vacheron-constantin.com
