Our exclusive live photos of the Eberhard & Co. Scafograf 300 MCMLIX ref.4134 in 3 colour variations: black, blue and green. Details and prices.
First introduced by Eberhard & Co. in 1959, the Scafograf quickly became one of the brand’s most successful diving watches and a standout model of the 1960s.
It featured all the key elements of a reliable diver: an automatic movement, shock-resistant steel case, expandable bracelet, black rotating bezel for measuring dive time, and a high-contrast dial with luminescent hands and markers.
The first versions, the Scafograf 100 and 200, were water resistant to 100 and 200 metres respectively. Their success led Eberhard to create an upgraded version, the Scafograf 300, capable of withstanding depths of up to 300 metres.

In 2016, Eberhard reintroduced the Scafograf 300, a modern take on its historic diver. The model was met with acclaim, earning several awards including the Sports Watch Prize at the Grand Prix d'Horlogerie de Genève. It was later joined by a GMT version, also offered in an all-black edition.
The Scafograf 300 “MCMLIX” Edition was launched in 2020 to celebrate the 60th anniversary of the model. Presented in black, this version highlighted the model’s origins through its Roman numerals – MCMLIX standing for 1959 – and “300” referring to its water resistance of 300 metres / 1,000 feet.
Since then, the collection has grown to include new variations in blue, green and brown tones.
We recently had the opportunity to go hands-on with three references of these professional diver’s watches: the black version with metal bracelet (Ref. 41034.07/VS CA2C), the green model with leather strap (Ref. 41034.09/VS CP), and the blue one with a rubber strap (Ref. 41034.08/VS CU). We are now pleased to share our photos of these highly enjoyable timepieces.
All models are housed in a 43 mm x 12.60 mm stainless steel case, characterised by satin-brushed surfaces and polished edges that emphasise its dynamic lines.
The 120-click unidirectional rotating bezel is fitted with a ceramic insert in black, blue or green, and features vintage-style luminescent markings on the 15-minute scale.
The screw-in crown, embossed with the brand’s “E” logo, is protected by two guards that not only enhance the overall look of the watch but also improve its robustness.
Positioned on the caseband at 9 o’clock, a helium escape valve ensures the safe release of helium during deep-sea dives. The watch is water resistant to 300 metres / 1,000 feet.
A domed sapphire crystal with anti-reflective treatment safeguards the dial, which stands out for its applied hour markers in round and triangular shapes at 6, 9 and 12 o’clock.
The hour hand, distinguished by a triangular tip reminiscent of the 1959 original, is paired with a baton-style minutes hand and a central lollipop seconds hand. A rectangular date aperture is positioned at 3 o’clock.
All hands and markers are coated with vintage-toned Super-LumiNova for optimal legibility.
The caseback is decorated with a starfish, the symbol of the Scafograf collection.
Behind it, the self-winding Sellita SW200-1 calibre beats at a frequency of 4 Hz (28,800 vibrations per hour) and offers a power reserve of approximately 40 hours.
The Scafograf 300 MCMLIX can be paired with an integrated rubber strap, a vintage-style water-repellent leather strap, or the Chassis stainless steel bracelet.
The Eberhard & Co. Scafograf 300 MCMLIX is priced at €2,850 with a leather strap, €3,050 with a rubber strap, or €3,650 with the steel bracelet.
