Bulgari - Diagono Scuba 2016

The diagono Scuba model was first introduced by Bulgari in 1994 as the diver’s version of its Diagono sports watch. A diving watch with an elegant design that could make it easily adaptable to all occasions.

Revamped last year (we wrote about it here), the Diagono Scuba line is now enriched by two new models characterised by the trendiest colour of the moment, blue.

The two new Bulgari Diagono Scuba 2016 are fitted with a 41 mm stainless steel case and come with either a blue rubber strap with a steel pin buckle or a steel-link bracelet with a steel folding clasp.

The unidirectional ratcheted bezel, serving to measure dive and decompression times, frames the ocean blue dial enriched by the Super-LumiNova-treated hour markers and large 6 and 12 numerals. At 3 o’clock the date aperture with instantaneous change.

Water resistant to 300 metres / 1000 feet, the two models are equipped with the self-winding Manufacture BVL 191 calibre beating at a frequency of 4 Hz (28,800 vph) and offering a power reserve of 42 hours.

This movement is equipped with a stop-seconds device serving to block the balance when the crown is pulled out as well as with a disconnecting system that avoids wear of the pinions and saves energy when the winding device is activated, either via the crown or by the motion of the oscillating weight.

The new Bulgari Diagono Scuba 2016 has a price of Euro 6,050 / US$ 6,550 with rubber strap (ref. 102504) or Euro 6,550 / US$ 7,100 with steel bracelet (ref. 102586). bulgari.com
