Bovet - 19Thirty Collection

As the name suggests, the new 19Thirty Collection from Bovet is a tribute to the aesthetic codes of the 1930s and it was actually inspired to a 1930s Bovet timepiece in the private collection of Pascal Raffy, the man behind manufacture Bovet since 2001.

The new collection is characterised by two distinct cases: the Fleurier case, whose crown and bow at 12 o’clock recall the origins of Bovet, and the more traditional Dimier case, with its four horns and a crown positioned at 3 o’clock.

Both versions are driven by a dedicated calibre developed and manufactured by watchmakers and artisans at manufacture Dimier 1738, also owned by Pascal Raffy. Drawing its energy from a single barrel, this hand-wound mechanical movement with beautiful haute horlogerie finishes beats at a frequency of 21,600 vibrations per hour and features a remarkable seven-day power reserve whose indicator is visible on the dial side.

The two stainless steel cases have a diameter of 42 mm and can be combined to a ivory polished lacquered, black circular brushed or blue circular brushed dial with Arabic, Roman or Chinese numerals, for a total of 18 possible combinations. bovet.com
