Lately we wrote about pretty expensive timepieces so we gladly welcome the new Hamilton Pan Europ Automatic, a watch that combines a nice, vintage-looking design with an interesting price point. The Hamilton Pan Europ was originally introduced by Hamilton in 1971 as an automatic chronograph. The current Hamilton Timeless Classic collection is already including a Pan Europ Automatic Chronograph with a 45 mm stainless steel case but now Hamilton expands the Pan Europ line by offering two versions of a three-hands automatic model in a steel 42 mm cushion-shaped case with the typical short integrated lugs.
The first version has a a brilliant blue dial with blue aluminium bezel insert, the second features grey dial with black aluminium bezel insert.
The hands and the applied hour markers are treated with Super-LumiNova for perfect visibility even in the dark. Day of the week and date are displayed at 3 o'clock.
The new Pan Europ is powered by the self-winding Hamilton H-30 movement offering 80 hours of power reserve. This watch is water resistant to 10 bar.
The price of the Pan Europ Automatic, available this summer, will be 1.095 US$ when combined with a fabric strap in colours that match the dial or 1,145 US$ with a sporty black leather strap.
