Our review of the Nomos Club Sport neomatik Worldtimer, a timepiece that combines sporty elegance with a worldtime function. Price from €3,760.
A worldtimer displays the time across multiple cities, typically covering 24 time zones, making it ideal for global travelers or anyone frequently coordinating across continents.
In horology, multi-timezone watches are not only practical but also showcase the technical expertise of a watchmaker and can be genuinely enjoyable to use.
Presented at Watches & Wonders Geneva 2025 last April, the Club Sport neomatik Worldtimer by Nomos Glashütte attracted significant attention. With this model, the German brand has successfully combined the sporty versatility of the Club Sport line with a practical and visually engaging worldtime function, all at an attractive price point.
At launch, the Worldtimer was offered in two standard versions, a deep blue dial (Ref. 790) and a silver-and-blue dial (Ref. 791), alongside six limited editions of 175 pieces each in striking colourways. For a full overview of the collection, see our introductory article published last April.
For this review, we tested the silver-and-blue version, Ref. 791.
With its sunburst finish that interacts beautifully with light, the dial is truly captivating. Well protected by a domed sapphire crystal with anti-reflective coating inside and out, it offers excellent legibility thanks to large hands and hour markers, alternating Arabic numerals and indexes.
All are treated with white Super-LumiNova and glow bright blue in low-light conditions.
Twenty-four time zones are represented by city codes on the outer city ring, highlighted in light blue. A red line at 12 o’clock marks the local time zone, which can be easily selected using the pusher at 2 o’clock.
The time at your home or reference location is shown at 3 o’clock on a 24-hour sub-dial, with a single red hand standing out against the snailed background.
Day and night are clearly distinguished by colour, light blue for day and red for night. This makes it ideal for keeping track of home time while travelling or monitoring any other chosen location.
Using the worldtime function is straightforward. After selecting the time zone for the home time display, the red hand in the sub-dial can be synchronized with the hour hand of the main dial using the corrector at 8 o’clock on the caseband, operated with a stylus included with the watch.
The time zone on the main dial can then be adjusted by pressing the pusher at 2 o'clock until the desired city is underlined by the red segment.
Additionally, the minute scale between the city ring and main dial helps visualise the time difference between zones, allowing you to keep track of multiple locations at a glance.
A snailed small seconds counter at 6 o’clock and the relief “neomatik” inscription complete the refined dial.
Crafted from 316L stainless steel with a polished finish, the round tripartite case measures 40 mm in diameter and just 9.9 mm in height, making the Club Sport neomatik Worldtimer one of the slimmest worldtimers on the market.
Water resistance up to 10 ATM (100 metres / 330 feet) makes the watch suitable for swimming, providing a reliable companion for most situations.
A clever red warning tube inside the crown signals when it is unscrewed, preventing accidental water or dust ingress.
The slimness of the case is made possible by the in-house automatic calibre DUW 3202, visible through the transparent sapphire crystal case back.
Despite the sophisticated complication fully integrated into the movement, it remains exceptionally slim at just 4.8 millimeters in height.
In addition to the gear train for the 24-hour display of a second time zone, this movement features a further wheel coupled to the city ring. Nomos' proprietary swing system ensures high precision and reliability and gives this model the additional title of ‘neomatik’.
Beating at a frequency of 3 Hz (21,600 vibrations per hour), it guarantees autonomy of up to 42 hours.
Characterised by a three-quarter plate architecture, the movement offers high-quality finishes, including rhodium-plated surfaces with Glashütte ribbing, perlage, tempered blued screws, and a bidirectional rotor with gold-plated embossing and a stylised globe.
The three-link satin-brushed and polished steel bracelet is seamlessly connected to the case and secured with a deployant clasp.
Quick-change spring bars make it easy to replace the bracelet without any tools.
Wearability is excellent thanks to the ideal proportions and curved lugs of the case. For reference, the wrist in our pictures measures 17.8 cm / 7 inches.
The watch can also be paired with textile straps in various colours. The lug width is 20 mm.
Prices are €3,760 / US$4,510 with a strap, and €3,940 / US$4,720 with a steel bracelet.
The Nomos Club Sport neomatik Worldtimer stands out as a refined and versatile timepiece that combines sporty elegance with practical functionality while remaining accessible compared to many peers.
With its clean yet distinctive design, excellent finishing, and in-house manufacture movement, the Club Sport neomatik Worldtimer delivers style and substance in a beautifully executed watch. nomos-glashuette.com
