Tudor - Heritage Black Bay Chrono

Tudor’s Heritage Black Bay collection expands with its first in-house chronograph with self-winding movement, column wheel and vertical clutch.

The new Heritage Black Bay Chrono remains faithful to the Black Bay aesthetic with the famous snowflake hands, a brand signature since 1969.

Its sub-counters are hollowed for optimum contrast against the matt black dial while a date aperture is positioned at 6 o’clock.

The recognisable characteristics of the Black Bay are preserved in a steel case with a 41-millimetre diameter, fitted with pushers inspired by the first generation of Tudor chronographs. A fixed bezel in circular satin-brushed steel with engraved tachymetric scale completes the face of this sporty new chronograph. The screw-down winding crown is engraved with the typical Tudor rose and lacquered in black. Waterproofness is 200 metres / 660 feet.

Beating at 28,800 vibrations per hour and boasting a 70-hour power reserve, the Calibre MT5813 features a silicon balance spring and is a Swiss Chronometer officially certified by the COSC (Swiss Official Chronometer Testing Institute). The MT5813 is manufactured by Breitling for Tudor and is based on Breitling’s flagship chronograph movement.

The Tudor Heritage Black Bay Chrono (ref. 79350) has a suggested retail price of Swiss Francs 4,500 / Euro 4,510 with a leather strap or Swiss Francs 4,800 / Euro 4,810 with a riveted steel bracelet. Both are accompanied by an additional fabric strap with buckle. The watch will be available in stores in July 2017. tudorwatch.com
