Bulgari - Octo Finissimo Automatic

After establishing world records for the thinnest tourbillon watch in 2014 and the thinnest minute repeater in 2016, Bulgari is presenting this year the slimmest ultra-thin self-winding watch on the market to date.

Featuring a total thickness of just 5.15mm, while its self-winding movement is just 2.23mm thick, the new Bulgari Octo Finissimo Automatic comes in a 40 mm-diameter sandblasted titanium case with a titanium crown enhanced by a ceramic insert.

Water-resistant to 30 metres / 100 feet, the sculpted case frames a titanium dial with PVD-treated black hands and an offset small seconds sundial positioned between 6 and 9 o’clock.

Each element of this watch was designed on purpose, in order to contribute to the extreme overall slenderness.

Wound by a platinum micro-rotor, the new in-house self-winding Calibre BVL 138 beats at a frequency of 21,600 vibrations per hour and has a 60-hour power reserve.

Despite the constraints involved in developing an ultra-thin watch calibre, the movement is beautifully hand-decorated with Côtes de Genève and circular-grained finishing.

Available with an alligator leather strap with a titanium pin buckle or a titanium bracelet composed of supple and articulated links, the Bulgari Octo Finissimo Automatic has a price of Swiss Francs 11,900 / Euro 12,500 / US$ 12,800 with strap or Swiss Francs 12,900 / Euro 13,500 / US$ 13,900 with bracelet. bulgari.com
