Glycine - Combat Sub Aquarius

Glycine presented the Combat Sub Aquarius, a new diving watch developed in collaboration with Swiss professional diver (as well as sky-diver) Remo Laeng.

The new watch comes in a 46 mm x 18.80 mm stainless steel case featuring a matt ceramic rotating bezel with an engraved timing scale.

The matt black dial offers excellent legibility, even under water thanks to the generous use of Super-LumiNova, with green emission for indices and hours/seconds hands and blue emission for the minutes hand and the bezel dot at 12 o’clock. A sapphire crystal with anti-reflective coating on both sides is also important to enhance readability regardless of the viewing angle.

Thanks to the screw-in crown, the screwed case back and the helium escape valve at 8 o’clock, the Glycine Combat Sub Aquarius is water proof to a depth of 500 metres / 1650 feet.

Inside, a reliable GL224 automatic movement (based on the ETA 2824-2) beats at 28,800 vibrations per hour with a power reserve of 38  hours.

Completed by an integrated black rubber strap secured by a buckle with double security folding clasp and diving extension, the Glycine Combat Sub Aquarius  (ref. 3946) has a price of Euro 1,990.
