Glashütte Original first introduced the Seventies Panorama Date in 2011 fitted with a four-link steel bracelet.
This year, the German watchmaker expands the vintage-looking product line offering new straps in leather and rubber.
Elegant with the new Louisiana Alligator leather strap in black, a dark blue or grey, the watch becomes more causal and sporty with the black rubber strap with laser engravings.
The design of the Seventies Panorama Date is inspired by the seventies: in those years watch designers successfully introduced several new shapes and stylistic elements.
The dial, made of German silver, is presented in galvanised silver, galvanised ruthenium, or blue. The silver dial is matt, while the ruthenium version presents a sunburst surface.
The blue dial features finely graded shading passing from a lighter centre to a darker periphery.
The distinctive Panorama Date is positioned at six o’clock. The hands in white or rose gold are coated with Super-LumiNova for improved legibility.
The Seventies Panorama Date houses the manufactory’s own calibre 39-47 automatic movement. It is visible through the sapphire crystal case back which is domed to further enhance wearability and comfort.
