Chronographs are not just instrument for sports. The new Longines Asthmometer-Pulsometer Chronograph, based on a Longines model dating back to 1963, proves it by delivering a chronograph that measures heart rate and respiration.
The polyvalence of this new chronograph is evidenced by the different colours used in the dial depending on the purpose of each indication. The red heart rate scale and the blue respiration scale can be easily read off from the outer edge of the silvered dial.
The 12 numeral and the eight applied indices are gold-plated like the gilded hands and the counter circles.
The steel case, which has a diameter of 38.50 mm like the 1963 model, houses an ETA2094-based self-winding movement with a power reserve of 37 hours.
