Girard-Perregaux - Laureato Tourbillon with Three Bridges

A marvel. The new Laureato Tourbillon with Three Bridges well represents the expertise of Girard-Perregaux in the haut de gamme watch manufacturing.
The design of the Laureato case steps back to the 1970s when it was first introduced while the three parallel bridges solution was first presented in 1889 at the Universal Exhibition in Paris in 1889 and was rewarded a gold metal.

Case and bracelet are in titanium except for the octagonal bezel which is in platinum. The bezel alternates satin-brushed and polished finishes for a powerful effect.

The three bridges made in spinel are nicely emphasized by the light blue colour. As the bridges remain transparent the blue colour is changing a lot with the light.
The case back closed with six screws allows the proud owner to admire the movement.

The tourbillon, which performs one rotation per minute, is meticulously decorated. The upper and lower frames, like the escapement and lever bridges, are chamfered and polished by hand, the frame is balanced with gold regulating screws.
The metal bracelet with H-shaped links is perfectly integrated with the style of the watch.

Limited Edition of 10 pieces.

Size: 42,6 mm.
