Richard Mille expands its global boutique network with a new flagship in Madrid

Richard Mille opens its first standalone boutique in Spain. Located on Madrid's Milla de Oro, the two-level flagship blends high watchmaking and luxu

Richard Mille has opened its first standalone boutique in Spain, taking over a 441-square-metre corner location at Calle José Ortega y Gasset 10 in the heart of Madrid’s Milla de Oro.

Although the brand has maintained longstanding commercial relationships in the country since its earliest years, the new address represents its first directly operated retail presence in Spain, a project shaped in part by years of encouragement from longtime partner Rafa Nadal.

Housed behind a discreet façade of black-framed windows and white awnings, the two-level space combines technical watchmaking with residential hospitality and local design elements.

Upon entering through the dual corner entrances, visitors encounter a four-metre-high foyer that connects the upper sales floor to the lower hospitality level via a circular glass lift and a sculptural staircase.

The upper floor features library-style joinery, two main lounges, and an on-site watchmaker's and polishing room equipped with five counter seats that offer a direct view of technical maintenance and craftsmanship.

Downstairs, the lower level is entirely devoted to privacy and entertaining, housing a sequence of lounges, a dining room, a bar, a wine cellar, a humidor, a custom Richard Mille ping-pong table, and a secluded lounge hidden behind a concealed door in the joinery.

The architectural concept merges the brand's international design language with Spanish sensibilities through natural textures, Ecoclay finishes, warm timbers, bronze accents, local artisan tiles, and coffered ceilings.
