H. Moser & Cie. - Endeavour Perpetual Calendar Purity

The latest model presented by H. Moser & Cie. once again remarks the philosophy and ambition of the Schaffhausen-based manufacture: making the complex simple.

Available in a limited edition of 50 pieces, the midnight-blue fumé dial of the new Endeavour Perpetual Calendar Purity is entirely minimalist, with no logo and the simplicity of double indices at 12 and 6 o'clock.

The small central hand indicates the months. Extremely easy to set, the watch can be adjusted forwards or backwards at any time of day. A very large date window at 3 o’clock with a new date design and a power reserve indicator at 9 o'clock complete the piece.

The simplified dial hides the complexity and the ingeniousness of the hand-wound HMC 800 calibre housed in the new Endeavour case, whose lines have been adapted to increase the diameter beyond the 40.8 mm model.

Crafted from white gold and measuring 42 mm, this sculpted case has a more dynamic look but it can still rests on the wrist thanks to its curved case-back.

The see-through curved sapphire crystal case-back reveals the leap year cycle indicator and the beautiful finishing of the movement which beats at 18,000 vibrations per hour and offers a power reserve of minimum 7 days thanks to its double barrel.

As with all new models produced by Moser from January 2017, this watch does not feature the Swiss Made label on the dial as the Schaffhausen-based manufacture, whose creations are over 95% Swiss, does not consider the label sufficiently rigorous with its minimum rate of Swiss value of 60% for the movement and the watch.

The H. Moser & Cie. Endeavour Perpetual Calendar Purity (ref. 1800-0200) has a price of Euro 51,500 / US$ 60,000. h-moser.com
